Description


Plastisol paint Sparkle Yellow – special paint, designed to produce in screen printing (silkscreen) of the flicker effect with high gloss. The prints have excellent durability.

Types of fabrics

100% cotton, mixed fabrics, some types of synthetics. Printing on white fabrics and fabrics in pastel shades.

Mesh selection

24-61 threads/cm, depending on the type of printing.

Recommended tension: 25-35 N/cm.

The choice of the doctor blade

Stiffness: sandwich 65/90/65 Sh.

Profile: rectangular.

Edge: rounded.

Speed: average. Avoid excessive pressure when printing.

Stencil

Emulsion: 2+2.

Capillary film: not applicable.

Printed gap: 2 mm.

The drying parameters

Intermediate drying: 75 °C (170 °F).

Transfer: 160°C (320 °F).

Supplements

Supplements: PC - max. 1-2% by weight.

Diluent: 10025VB QEC Viscosity Buster - 3% by weight.

Storage

Store at temperature 18-32º C.

Avoid contact with direct sunlight.

Printing guidelines


• For best results, follow the recommended printing parameters.

• Due to the reflectivity of the glitter that is part of the paint and thick paint layer, it is necessary to pay special attention to the drying mode. You may need to increase drying time.

• Despite the fact that screen printing ink Yellow Sparkle was developed for direct printing, it is also possible its use for printing transfers the cold compartment. The drying temperature of 77 °C (170 °F), the temperature of the transfer 190 °C (375 °F).

 

Special recommendation


• Test for drying are required prior to beginning the print run. Insufficient or excessive drying will result in poor stability of the print to wash, and poor adhesion of paint. The temperature on the surface of the impression with intermediate and final drying must be monitored with a pyrometer or other means.

• Responsibility for the correct selection of paint to a printing material lying on the technologist or the printer responsible for making paint and printing options.

• Avoid excessive intermediate drying, as this may result in poor adhesion of paint layers.

• Avoid migration of dyes fabrics when printing on materials where migration is possible, the print substrate recommended Single LC White. It is recommended to carry out preliminary tests!

• Stir the product before printing.

• The printed image cannot be subjected to dry cleaning, bleaching, and Ironing with a hot iron.
