Description


Transfer inks Transflex Super is designed for printing transfers to office hot (hot-split). After transferring, the fingerprints are very similar to direct printing, but are ultra-soft. Transflex Super inks have excellent covering power when transferring to dark fabrics. Compared to conventional paints for the transfer of hot offices, these paints have much better printing properties and an extended range of parameters of the transfer. Inks Transflex Super also can be used for printing transfers the cold compartment (cold-peel).

Types of fabrics

100% cotton, mixed cotton fabrics, linen, knits, lycra. Not recommended for nylon and satin fabrics.

Mesh selection

34-49 threads/cm.

Recommended tension: 25-35 N/cm.

The choice of the doctor blade

Hardness: single-layer 65-85 Sh.

Profile: rectangular.

Edge: sharp.

Speed: average, with abundant irrigation. Avoid excessive pressure when printing.

Stencil

Emulsion: 2+2.

Capillary film: not applicable.

Printed gap: 2 mm.

The drying parameters

Intermediate drying: 115-132 °C (240-270 °F).

Final drying: 190 °C (375 °F).

Lowering the drying temperature will result in a more elastic transfer, and its increase will have a negative impact on the separation of the transfer when you transfer.

Thinner: Reducer #1 – max. 5% by weight.

Store at temperature 18-32º C.

Printing guidelines


• Use of printed adhesive 10210TF Transflex Printable Adhesive improves the adhesion of Transflex Super inks on a very wide range of materials in a cold office.

• When the hot compartment remove the transfer paper should be made immediately after the transfer. At cold branch, should be cool the product without removing the paper for about 15 seconds.

• The quality of the transfer is strongly influenced by the parameters of drying equipment (kind and type of intermediate drying, the length of the conveyor tunnel dryer, etc.), so, for the best results you may need to adjust the equipment.

• For making the cold transfer offices use a special transfer paper.

 

Special recommendation


• Test for drying are required prior to beginning the print run. Insufficient or excessive drying will result in poor stability of the print to wash, and poor adhesion of paint. The temperature on the surface of the impression with intermediate and final drying must be monitored with a pyrometer or other means.

• Responsibility for the correct selection of paint to a printing material lying on the technologist or the printer responsible for making paint and printing options.

• Before starting the circulation of the print is recommended a test print and translation into a particular fabric or item, to produce the desired result.

• It is recommended to turn out products with transfer print inside out when washing and drying.

• You need to pre-screen painted fabrics, since the dye of the fabric under impact of temperature during transport may affect the color transfer.

• For best results, prior to transfer, it is recommended to dry clean the product in the transfer press.

• Stir the product before printing.

• Sealed image can not be subjected to dry cleaning, bleaching, and Ironing with a hot iron.

• For any application not referred in this manual, necessary to carry out preliminary tests or to consult a specialist.
