Plastitalia paint Transflex Process Inks specially designed to print full color transfers with excellent color reproduction in screen printing with photographic quality, gradient grayscale and spot process printing. As a basis for separation applies 10007TF Transflex TransClear.

100% cotton, mixed cotton fabrics, linen, knits, lycra. Not recommended for nylon and satin fabrics.

Mesh selection

Fine lines: 120-140 threads/cm.

Recommended tension: 25-35 N/cm.

The choice of the doctor blade

Hardness: single-layer 65-85 Sh.

Edge: sharp.

Speed: average with irrigation. Avoid excessive pressure on the squeegee during printing.


Emulsion: 2+2.

Printed gap: 2 mm.

The drying parameters

Intermediate drying: 115-132 °C (240-270 °F).

Final drying: 190 °C (375 °F).

Store at temperature 18-32º C.

• Excellent brightness.

Printing guidelines

• Standard fine print as process colors: 1) Black 2) Blue, 3) Magenta, 4) Yellow.

• The base for separating 10007TF Transflex Transclear should be printed on transfer paper first layer. Recommended mesh for printing base: 120-140 threads/cm.

• Depending on the used transfer paper, properties, offices 10007TF Transflex Transclear may slightly vary, therefore it is recommended to carry out preliminary tests.

• Slight stickiness of the surface of the imprint 10007TF Transflex Transclear on the transfer paper after intermediate drying will lead to additional adhesion when printing subsequent colors and will have a positive impact on the quality of transmission of fine lines and halftones when printing transfers.

• The quality of the transfer is strongly influenced by the parameters of drying equipment (kind and type of intermediate drying, the length of the conveyor tunnel dryer, etc.), so, for the best results you may need to adjust the equipment.

• For making the cold transfer offices use a special transfer paper.


Special recommendation

• Test for drying are required prior to beginning the print run. Insufficient or excessive drying will result in poor stability of the print to wash, and poor adhesion of paint. The temperature on the surface of the impression with intermediate and final drying must be monitored with a pyrometer or other means.

• Responsibility for the correct selection of paint to a printing material lying on the technologist or the printer responsible for making paint and printing options.

• Before starting the circulation of the print is recommended a test print and translation into a particular fabric or item, to produce the desired result.

• It is recommended to turn out products with transfer print inside out when washing and drying.

• You need to pre-screen painted fabrics, since the dye of the fabric under impact of temperature during transport may affect the color transfer.

• For best results, prior to transfer, it is recommended to dry clean the product in the transfer press.

• Stir the product before printing.

• Sealed image can not be subjected to dry cleaning, bleaching, and Ironing with a hot iron.

• For any application not referred in this manual, necessary to carry out preliminary tests or to consult a specialist.
