Plastisol paint NuPuff containing puff

Description


NuPuff is plastisol dye, containing in its composition of puff. Is used for printing relief images. Has good durability and resistance to external influences.

Types of fabrics

100% cotton, blended fabric based on cotton.

Mesh selection

Rough print: 24-34 threads/cm.

Fine lines: 43-49 threads/cm.

Recommended tension: 25-35 N/cm.

The choice of the doctor blade

Hardness: single-layer 65-75 Sh.

Profile: rectangular.

Edge: rounded.

Speed: average.

Stencil

Emulsion: 2+2.

Capillary film: not applicable.

Printed gap: 2 mm.

The drying parameters

Intermediate drying at 140-165 °C (290-330 °F).

Final drying at 160 °C (320 °F).

Supplements

Diluent: 10070PFXCR Curable Reducer - maximum 10% by weight.

Supplements: Finesse #10150 may be used to reduce the degree of rise of the puff without changing paint viscosity.

Storage

Store at temperature 18-32º C.

Avoid contact with direct sunlight.

To use during the year of receipt.

Printing guidelines


• Use well-strained shape to optimize the printing process.

• For best results, follow the recommended printing parameters.

• When printing a large square of thin fabric can shrink. To pucker, make raster printing (e.g. 80% black).

 

Special recommendation


• You can get different effects by changing the temperature of the intermediate drying, the thickness of the emulsion layer on the stencil, and adictiva standard colors and special effects.

• When printing multiple colors, it is necessary to dry the puff before printing the other colors.

• This paint is designed with special protection from fraying, therefore, the risk that the cured paint will break down is minimized.

• Flexipuff Additive #10520 can be added to a standard paint (Epic series Standard, MX), to obtain a raised seal. Please note that adding this product does not give relief of such height as NuPUFF.

• Test before launch into production. Bad curing of the paint at the recommended temperatures will result in poor wash resistance, weak adhesion and unacceptable durability.

• Mix the plastisol prior to printing.

• Do not expose dry clean, do not bleach and do not iron the sealed region.

• For any application not referred in this manual, necessary to carry out preliminary tests or to consult a specialist.
