Translucent Libraprint LIP paint is a versatile paint stencil, solvent based, has a range of raster and basic shades for the daily tasks in graphic screen printing.

Libraprint LIP is used for printing on self-adhesive films made of PVC, hard PVC, acrylic glass, polystyrene, ABS and SAN plastics, soft PVC, PETG, polycarbonate, paper and cardboard, as well as for deep drawing.

Libraprint LIP is great for making labels PVC, billboards, displays, folders, book covers, banners and other promotional media, as well as inscriptions of various kinds. For the decoration of truck awnings instead of LIP we recommend you to use our paint for banner fabrics Maraplan PL.

Of the color shades, using an electronic mixing system Marabu-ColorManager (MCM), you can get all known color systems PANTONE®, HKS®, and RAL®. All color shades can be mixed with each other in any combination. Avoid mixing with other types of paints to preserve the special properties of Libraprint LIP.

Thinner soft PSV

PSV – the universal thinner, is added to the paint prior to application is recommended when printing on polystyrene or other plastics sensitive to solvents. For spray coating additive up to 40%.

Thinner soft UKV2

UKV2 is a universal diluent, added to the paint before use to adjust its properties before printing, in particular viscosity and spreading. More environmentally friendly, has a higher evaporation rate than UKV1.

Retarder SV5

SV5 - universal retarder, added to the paint before use, significantly increasing the drying time of the paint if the work is carried out at slow printing speeds. Also reduce the resistance to adhesion of fingerprints (in the stack).

Slow retarder SV 10

SV10 - universal retarder, added to the paint before use, significantly increasing the drying time of the paint if the work is carried out at slow printing speeds. Also reduce the resistance to adhesion of fingerprints (in the stack).

VP retarding paste

VP - paste retarder is added to the paint in the case when the addition of solvent and retarder is no longer possible, and the paint still dries quickly. ONLY applies to one component pad and screen printing inks.

Plasticizer WM1

WM1 - plasticizer is recommended when the paint layer should be particularly elastic. This is especially important for thin printed materials that tend to twist, as well as when the printed paint layer will then be cut or embossed. Exception series Maraprop PP.

ES flow improver

ES - means for spreading, serves to prevent the formation of bubbles in the paint during printing, due to the constant movement of the squeegee or intensive mixing.

Matting paste ABM

ABM - dulling paste, is a matting of the paint without losing covering ability. For 2-component pad printing or screen printing and UV-curable inks, use a matting powder Marabu MP.

Additive - 1-20%

Mattifying powder МР

MP matting powder, matting is used for screen printing or pad printing inks with no loss in opacity. Supplement powder the IR is not making a colorful mixture of extraneous binder. Therefore, the properties of the paint remain unchanged.

Opaque paste ОР170

OP170 - covering paste, serves to increase the hiding power of color shades without affecting their chemical resistance and resistance to dry abrasion. Used with stencil and tempera paints based on solvents.

UR3/ UR4 cleaner

UR3 and UR4 - universal cleaners are recommended for cleaning screen forms, working tools and printing tables from paint.

Metallics are mixed with lacquer LIP 910, and the recommended amount of additives can be individually adjusted depending on the printing task. Since mixtures with metallics are not stable during storage, they need to be prepared in an amount that can be processed within 8 hours. Because of its chemical structure, the pale gold S 184 and copper S 186 reduce the working time with bronze shades to 4 hours.


Metallic powders

Metal powders are used to obtain metallic shades by mixing the powder into transparent varnishes. Due to the larger size of solid particles in metal powders should choose a coarser mesh, for example, 100.40.

Shades, made of powders of metals exposed to the dry abrasion, therefore, to protect the imprint, recommended surface varnish LIP 910.

Metallic pastes
