Paint for screen printing with solvent Glasfarbe GL

Glasfarbe GL paint is mainly used for printing on glass and ceramics, especially for decorating perfume bottles or promotional items. This is a special paint and, unlike other 2-component systems, it has very good adhesion and high water resistance. Also, this paint can be used on advertising products made of glass and ceramics, subjected to moderate loads during washing.

Paint for pad and screen printing Glasfarbe GL is successfully used for printing not only on glass, but also on ceramics, metal, chrome products, materials with different coatings, as well as thermoplastics. Since all of these materials may differ in their properties (due to additives, etc.), it is recommended to make a test print to determine the suitability of the paint for each specific use.

Of the color shades, using an electronic mixing system Marabu-ColorManager (MCM), you can get all known color systems PANTONE, HKS, and RAL. All color shades can be mixed with each other in any combination. It is necessary to avoid mixing with other grades of paints to keep special properties of Glasfarbe GL.

Thinner GLV

GLV is a special solvent added to the paint before application to adjust its properties before screen printing in particular viscosity and spreading.

Additive - 5-10%

Unit of measure: 1l.

Jet thinner GLTPV

GLTPV is a special solvent added to the paint before application to adjust its properties before pad printing in particular viscosity and spreading.

Additive - 15-30%

Unit of measure: 1l.

Soft retarder SV1

SV1 - universal retarder, added to the paint before use, significantly increasing the drying time of the paint if the work is carried out at slow printing speeds. Also reduce the resistance to adhesion of fingerprints (in the stack).

Additive - 10-15%

Unit of measure: 1l. and 5l.

Slow retarder SV 9

SV9 - universal retarder, added to the paint before use, significantly increasing the drying time of the paint if the work is carried out at slow printing speeds. Also reduce the resistance to adhesion of fingerprints (in the stack).

Additive - 1-5%

Unit of measure: 1l. and 5l.

Hardener GLH

GLH is a special hardener added to the paint just before printing. Susceptible to moisture and must be stored in a tightly closed container.

Additive - 5%

Unit of measure: 50 gr.

Print modifier VM1

VM1 - means for spreading, eliminates problems with spreading paint when working with hard-to-seal surfaces. Adding more can, on the contrary, complicate the spreading problem and lead to poor adhesion.

Additive - 0-1%

Unit of measure: 1l.

Matting powder MP

MP matting powder, matting is used for screen printing or pad printing inks with no loss in opacity. Supplement powder the IR is not making a colorful mixture of extraneous binder. Therefore, the properties of the paint remain unchanged.

Additive - 1-3%

Unit of measure: 1l.

UR3/ UR4 cleaner

UR3 and UR4 - universal cleaners are recommended for cleaning screen forms, working tools and printing tables from paint.

Unit of measure: 5l.

Metallics are mixed with lacquer GL 910, and the recommended amount of additives can be individually adjusted depending on the printing task. Since mixtures with metallics are not stable during storage, they need to be prepared in an amount that can be processed within 8 hours. Because of its chemical structure, the pale gold S 184 and copper S 186 reduce the working time with bronze shades to 4 hours.

Metallic powders

Metal powders are used to obtain metallic shades by mixing the powder into transparent varnishes. Due to the larger size of solid particles in metal powders should choose a coarser mesh, for example, 100.40.

Shades, made of powders of metals exposed to the dry abrasion, therefore, to protect the imprint, recommended surface varnish GL 910.
