White water-based paint and transparent base Geo Gipsy White and Clear print on the reverse side




Geo Gipsy White (white paint) and Geo Gipsy Clear (transparent base) - paint water-based polyurethane binder for screen printing on textiles on the reverse side of the product or cut. Due to the exceptional penetrating power of paint comes out on the right side of the fabric, creating a beautiful "vintage" effects. Geo Gipsy Clear base used when printing on light fabrics, white paint Geo Gipsy White when printing on dark textiles. To obtain colour shades it is recommended to add water pigments of a series of AquaTint.

61-63 threads/cm, Geo Gipsy Clear.

48 threads/cm, Geo Gipsy White.

Recommended tension: 25-35 N/cm.

The choice of the doctor blade

Hardness: single-layer 65 Sh.

Speed: average.

Tilt angle: 75°.


Emulsion: 2+2.

Printed gap: 2 mm.

The drying parameters

Intermediate drying: 93-99 °C.

Final drying: 160 °C, 1.5 minutes.


Additives: pigments Aqua Tint - max. 5% by weight.

Retarder: Retarder Hydra - up to 5% by weight.


Store at temperature 18-32º C.

Avoid contact with direct sunlight.

Printing guidelines

• for best results, follow the recommended printing parameters and the number of grids;

• avoid excessive pressure on the squeegee when printing;

• printing: in two passes, with subsequent drying before printing the next color;

• exact drying times cannot be given due to objective differences in power, distance to the heating element intermediate drying, and the thickness of the applied layer of paint;

• to optimize the printing process use a well-strained shape;

• before printing it is recommended to add 3-5% retarder Retarder Hydra, which prevents the thickening of the ink on the printed form;

• to clean the screen form in cluding the printing process used water.


Special recommendation

• test for drying are required prior to beginning the print run. Insufficient or excessive drying will result in poor stability of the print to wash, and poor adhesion of paint. The temperature on the surface of the impression with intermediate and final drying must be monitored with a pyrometer or other means;

• responsibility for the correct selection of paint to a printing material lying on the technologist or the printer responsible for making paint and printing options;

• before printing the paint should be stirred;

• decrease the viscosity of the paint (when diluted) affects opacity;

• for any application not referred in this manual, necessary to carry out preliminary tests or to consult a specialist.
