Supplement Foil Resist Additive to avoid sticking of foil

   

 

Description


Foil Resist Additive "anti-foil" is added to the ink of the standard episodes in order to avoid sticking of the foil to some parts of the design under thermal pressure. The addition of this product does not change the printing properties and appearance of the paint after curing.

Printing guidelines


• Add 10% by weight in the standard plastitalia paint.

• Make sure the additive is well mixed with the paint before printing.

• Paint, which added the "anti-foil" can also be used for printing conventional designs (without using foil).

• Use stencils with the recommended tension for optimal results.

• Paint with the addition of "anti-foil" should be method "wet on wet" to eliminate the possibility of overheating.

• If possible, paint with this additive should be printed last to minimize contact with other stencils.

• Not recommended for adding a series of colors with low drying temperature.

• For best result it is recommended to apply foil within 24 hours after printing. A later application can cause unwanted sticking of the foil to the elements of the design where it is not required.

 

Special recommendation


• Test the adhesion and resistance of the foil to washing mandatory especially when using special effects that create a high layer, or containing sequins.

• Avoid excessive heating of the paint during the process of intermediate drying and curing of the paint layer. Overheating can degrade the effectiveness of the supplements! If possible, set up Your drying equipment so that the temperature was the minimum possible to achieve the desired result with intermediate drying and further curing.

• Test for ink drying are required prior to beginning printing. Remember that insufficient or excessive drying will lead to instability of the print to wash, poor adhesion to each other of the inner layers and increase migration of dyes.

• Stir the product before printing.

• The printed image cannot be subjected to dry cleaning, bleaching, and Ironing with a hot iron.

• For any application not referred in this manual, necessary to carry out preliminary tests or to consult a specialist.
