Supplement Foil Off Additive to avoid sticking of foil

 

 

Description


Foil Off Additive - "anti-foil" is added to the ink of the standard episodes in order to avoid sticking of the foil to some parts of the design under thermal pressure. The addition of this product does not change the printing properties and appearance of the paint after curing.

Features

Printing guidelines


• add 20–60% by weight to standard paint;

• make sure the additive is well mixed with ink before printing;

• paint that has “anti-foil” added can also be used to print conventional designs (without using foil);

• use stencils with recommended tension for optimal results;

• anti-foil inks must be printed wet on wet to eliminate the possibility of overheating;

• if possible, paints with this additive should be printed last to minimize contact with other stencils;

• it is not recommended to add to the series of paints with low drying temperature;

• for best results, we recommend applying foil within 24 hours after printing. Delayed application can cause undesirable adhesion of the foil to those design fragments where this was not required.

 

Special recommendation


• a test for the adhesion and resistance of the foil to washing is mandatory, especially when using special effects that create a high layer or contain glitter;

• avoid excessive heating of the paint during the intermediate drying and curing of the paint layer. Overheating may reduce the effectiveness of the additive! If possible, adjust your drying equipment so that the temperature is the lowest possible to achieve the desired result during intermediate drying and further curing;

• the ink drying test is required before printing. Remember that insufficient or excessive drying will lead to instability of the print to washing, poor adhesion of the inner layers to each other and increase the migration of dyes;

• mix the ink before printing;

• the printed image can not be subjected to dry cleaning, bleaching, and ironing with a hot iron;

• in any application not mentioned in this manual, it is necessary to carry out preliminary tests or consult a specialist.
