Description


First White E - universal elastic white screen printing ink water-based polyurethane binder. Has a very high covering power and elasticity. It is used to print vector designs and substrates. When printing does not block the cells of the stencil even during prolonged idle. For its published properties, this water-based paint as close as possible to plastitalia stencil paints.

Types of fabrics

100% cotton, mixed cotton fabrics.

Mesh selection

43-77 threads/cm, depending on the type of printing.

Recommended tension: 25-35 N/cm.

The choice of the doctor blade

Stiffness: sandwich 65/90/65 Sh.

Speed: average.

Tilt angle: 25°.

Stencil

Emulsion: 2+2.

Printed gap: 2 mm.

The drying parameters

Intermediate drying: 93-99 °C.

Final drying: 160 °C, 2 minutes.

Supplements

Thinner: Reducer 77, the Jet Reducer to 3% by weight.

Retarder: Retarder Hydracryl - up to 5% by weight.

Retainer: Special Fixer or Universal Fix for resistance to washing up to 3% by weight.

Storage

Store at temperature 18-32º C.

Features

Printing guidelines


• for best results, follow the recommended printing parameters and the number of grids;

• avoid excessive pressure on the squeegee when printing;

• printing: two passes without intermediate drying. The use of an intermediate drying is necessary when using a dye as a substrate;

• exact drying times cannot be given due to objective differences in power, distance to the heating element intermediate drying, and the thickness of the applied layer of paint;

• to increase the speed of production, use mesh higher resolution, which will reduce the drying time. Adjust the machine settings and drying so that after intermediate drying of the top layer of paint was dry to the touch;

• to optimize the printing process use a well-strained shape;

• before printing it is recommended to add 3-5% retarder Retarder Hydracryl, which prevents the thickening of the ink on the printed form, under difficult conditions printing maximum additive is 8%;

• when thickening the paint for dilution it is recommended to add 1-3% thinner Reducer 77, the maximum additive
is 5%;

• very strong thickening to restore the printing properties of inks you need to add 1-3% of the diluent Jet Reducer;

• to improve resistance to washing, possible additive 3% retainer Special Fixer or Universal Fix. The clips are activated at 100 °C and do not affect the life of the paint job;

• when used in the design of ink and foil or flock you need to add 20-60% of Hydra Foil-off Additive and 3% of Flock Catalyst or HI-Activator. The additive prevents the adhesion of the foil or flock to the ink in the transfer process. The mixture's work time - up to 48 hours;

• to clean the screen form in cluding the printing process used water.

 

Special recommendation


• test for drying are required prior to beginning the print run. Insufficient or excessive drying will result in poor stability of the print to wash, and poor adhesion of paint. The temperature on the surface of the impression with intermediate and final drying must be monitored with a pyrometer or other means;

• responsibility for the correct selection of paint to a printing material lying on the technologist or the printer responsible for making paint and printing options;

• before printing the paint should be stirred;

• decrease the viscosity of the paint (when diluted) affects opacity;

• for any application not referred in this manual, necessary to carry out preliminary tests or to consult a specialist.
