Plastisol paint Epic Rio (Color Matching System) to obtain shades of Pantone's

System mixing plastisol inks series Epic RIO system consisting of paint and the phthalates, designed for optimal balance of color reproduction and opacity to achieve maximum performance when printing color designs. The system consists of 18 basic paint ready, mix with each other to produce accurate colors according the PANTONE system. Epic RIO is the most opaque system of mixing. Increased opacity Epic RIO helps to save ink and money, speeding up the obtaining of the desired color when printing, even when using grids of high resolution.

Printing guidelines

• For best results, follow the recommended printing parameters and the number of grids.

• Print in one pass of the squeegee.

• Best results are obtained when printing on white/light fabrics. On dark fabrics it is recommended that print with the white background in one pass of the squeegee.

• For direct printing on dark fabrics with no white underlay, it is recommended to use coarser mesh and printing with intermediate drying.

• To print underlay 100% cotton fabrics recommended 11335WHT Sprint White.

• To avoid the risk of migration of the dyes fabrics when printing on materials where migration is possible, the print substrate recommended 11835PFW Epic Quick White or 11195PFW Epic Athletic LB White.

• Avoid excessive pressure on the squeegee during printing.

Special recommendation

• Pre-test drying are required prior to beginning the print run. Insufficient or excessive drying will result in poor stability of the print to wash, and poor adhesion of paint. The temperature on the surface of the impression with intermediate and final drying must be monitored with a pyrometer or other means.

• Responsibility for the correct selection of paint to a printing material lying on the technologist or the printer responsible for making paint and printing options.

• For matching all shades formula PANTONE® was mixed and printed through the mesh 62 threads/cm on fabric 100% cotton in white color on a white substrate in one pass of the squeegee. However, paint Epic RIO can also be printed through mesh ranging from 43 to 120 threads/cm depending on mesh and thickness of the obtained paint layer can change the color saturation and opacity of paint.

• Reducing viscosity will adversely affect opacity of the paint.

• Before printing the paint should be stirred.

• Avoid excessive intermediate drying, as this may result in poor adhesion of paint layers when multi-color printing.

• Sealed image can not be subjected to dry cleaning, bleaching, and Ironing with a hot iron.

• For any application not referred in this manual, necessary to carry out preliminary tests or to consult a specialist.
