Water base Clear For Metallic is to add metal powders

Description

Clear For Metallic - transparent elastic aqueous base (binder) based on polyurethane, allows to obtain at textile printing in metallic inks. The color of the paint depends on the colour of the metal powder, knead in the database before printing. The base is exceptionally high transparency, elasticity, and stability when printing and the softness of the print after drying.

For mixing with base Clear For Metallic recommended Powder Metallic metal powders having high brightness and saturation. The fraction of metal particles 32-38 microns. In the range of 8 powders of different colors, which allows to obtain a variety of straight colors and their combinations. In addition, to provide additional color shade of metallic paint you can add pigments Aqua Tint - up to 1 %.

The basis Clear For Metallic is water, and the powders are fine particles of metal. Therefore, due to the natural oxidation of the metal particles over time there is a change in color of the mixed metal colors. Mixed dye loses color saturation after 2-3 days, and after 7-10 days, the paint darkens. Therefore, before printing it is recommended to prepare the necessary copies for the number of colors.

Features

• for metallic print effects and designs with the addition of metal powders;

• can be used as an additive to any water-based paints to improve their flexibility (5-15%);

• when using metal powders small fraction of the print result similar to the effect you get when you transfer textile-foil. Subsequent polishing of the transfer press further enhances this effect;

• odorless;

• stretch base with excellent adhesion;

• easy passage through recommended meshes.

Printing guidelines

• for best results, follow the recommended printing parameters and the number of grids;

• avoid excessive pressure on the squeegee when printing;

• exact drying times cannot be given due to objective differences in power, distance to the heating element of drying, as well as the thickness of the applied layer of paint;

• when recommended meshes with an intermediate or minimum diameter of the filament;

• to optimize the printing process use a well-strained shape;

• before printing it is recommended to add 3-5% retarder Hydracryl Retarder , which prevents the thickening of the ink on the printed form, under difficult conditions printing maximum additive is 8%;

• when thickening the paint for dilution it is recommended to add 1-3% thinner Reducer 77, the maximum additive is 5%;

• very strong thickening to restore the printing properties of inks it is recommended to add 1-3% of the diluent Jet Reducer;

• to improve resistance to washing, possible additive 3% retainer Special Fixer or Universal Fix, the clips are activated at 100 °C and do not affect the life of the paint job;

• initial cleaning of stencils is made of water, after which the stencil is dried and optionally is flushed with a cleaner solvent-based.

Special recommendation

• test for drying are required prior to beginning the print run. Insufficient or excessive drying will result in poor stability of the print to wash, and poor adhesion of paint. The temperature on the surface of the impression with intermediate and final drying must be monitored with a pyrometer or other means;

• responsibility for the correct selection of paint to a printing material lying on the technologist or the printer responsible for making paint and printing options;

• before printing the paint should be stirred;

• decrease the viscosity of the paint (when diluted) affects opacity;

• for any application not referred in this manual, necessary to carry out preliminary tests or to consult a specialist.
