Universal emulsion Azocol Z140

 

 

Description

Azocol Z140 is used for manufacturing high-quality silk-screen stencils, resistant to water and solvents. Because of its great resolving ability and excellent overlap of grid cells Azocol Z140 is ideal for printing finest raster texts and images, so universally applicable in screen printing. Despite high levels of stability, Azocol Z140 easily removed from the stencil.

Application

Sensitization. DIAZO № 32. Recommendation: to dissolve the diazo powder with 100 ml capacity is filled only half, 250 ml – only once.

Degreasing. Sieve checked for proper tension, for optimum results, copy should be cleaned and degreased prior to application of the carbon coating. To do this, use a degreasing handicraft series PREGAN (A9 or NT9) or integrated tool KIWO MESH X-CEL. For automatic cleaning systems are recommended in a series of concentrates KIWOCLEAN (see separate technical specifications). After thorough washing with water and drying nets ready for applying emulsion.

APPLICATION. Azocol Z140 emulsion can be applied manually or with automatic installation. In the manual application, you must first apply the emulsion with the printing side (typically 2-3 layers), and only then begins applying the emulsion to the squeegee side of printed forms. The number of layers depends on the task print. For application is recommended to use automatic settings series KIWOMAT, as it is with their help achieve an absolutely identical results.

Azocol Z140 characterized by a high content of solids, so very good results in the manufacture of stencil is easy to achieve with a smaller than usual number of emulsion layers.

DRY. For best stability stencil mesh with image photo emulsion before exposure should be thoroughly dried at a temperature of 35 - 40 ° C. Recommend the use of the oven with a filtration system and fresh air.

Exposure. Stencil is created by curing waste area under UV - radiation. Requires a source of exposure to actinic blue light with a wavelength in the range 350 - 420 nm. The optimal source of such light are metal (metal halide) bulbs.

Because of the many variables that affect the exposure time, the absolute value can not be specified. Optimal results can be achieved only through the exposure step and selection time using the calculator display KIWO ExpoSheck. To achieve the highest resistance stencil, you should choose the maximum exposure time at which the fine detail reproduction.

Retouched. To fix the edges of the stencil and filling is recommended to use products in a series of KIWOFILLER. When printing water based paints should be applied waterproof retouching.

Flaking. Azocol Z140 can be easily removed from the grid by product line for the wash emulsion PREGASOL. If the flaking emulsion on the grid remain contamination (paint residues or so-called "double image"), they can be removed with products PREGAN for final processing of the grid. Types of pollution can vary greatly, so it is recommended to carry out their own tests.

COLOR. Before sensitization: blue, once sensitized: green

Viscosity. About 7000 mPas

STORAGE. Sensitization before 12 months (20-25 ° C). Once sensitized about 6 weeks (20-25 ° C). Protect from frost!

Grid with pre-applied emulsion layer: about 4 weeks (at 20-25 ° C in complete darkness).

When long storage stencil emulsion layer can absorb moisture from the environment, so it is recommended to re-exposure to drying.
