Emulsion high-resolution Azocol Poly-Plus S

Description

Emulsion AZOCOL POLY-PLUS S is used to produce high quality stencil forms resistant to solvents. Because of its excellent resolution and excellent overlapping mesh AZOCOL POLY-PLUS S is ideal for printing finest raster graffiti (print halftone graphic works, high-scale devices, ceramic decals, etc.) Due to the high elasticity of the emulsion is suitable for printing on packages of products and works when printing is performed at the edges of the printed material. Relatively good resistance to water makes it possible to print limited editions of water based paints.

Application

Sensitization. Diazo number 1. For coating photographic emulsions to fill a bottle with powder sensitizer for ½ of the volume (the risk) Shake well and pour the resulting solution into a jar with photo emulsion. You then need to re-fill the bottle with water on the risk, once again shake well and pour the water back into the jar with photo emulsion. After that, the emulsion must be mixed thoroughly and leave for 30-40 minutes, after which emulsion is ready.

Degreasing. For best results, before applying the emulsion screen mesh should be cleaned and degreased. To do this, use a degreasing handicraft series PREGAN (A9 or NT9) or integrated tool KIWO MESH X-CEL. For automatic cleaning systems are recommended in a series of concentrates KIWOCLEAN (see separate technical specifications). After thorough washing with water and drying nets ready for applying emulsion.

APPLICATION. Emulsion AZOCOL POLY-PLUS S can be applied manually or with automatic installation. In the manual application, you must first apply the emulsion with the printing side (typically 2-3 layers). After this emulsion is applied to the squeegee side printed form. The number of layers depends on the task print. For application is recommended to use automatic settings series KIWOMAT, as it is with their help achieve an absolutely identical results.

DRY. For best stability stencil mesh with applied photographic emulsion before exposure should be thoroughly dried at a temperature of 35 - 40 ° C. Recommend the use of the oven with a filtration system and fresh air.

Exposure. Stencil is created by curing waste area under UV - radiation. Requires a source of exposure to actinic blue light with a wavelength in the range 350 - 420 nm. The optimal source of such light are metal (metal halide) bulbs.

Because of the many variables that affect the exposure time, the absolute value can not be specified. Optimal results can be achieved only through the exposure step and selection time using the calculator display KIWO ExpoSheck. To achieve the highest resistance stencil, you should choose the maximum exposure time at which the fine detail reproduction.

A guideline:
Light source: metal halide lamp power up to 5000 W at 1 m emulsion application manually (H) or the Automated Installation Kit (MA) KIWOMAT MODULAR. Raquel-cell R 125.

Retouched. To fix the edges of the stencil and filling is recommended to use products in a series of KIWOFILLER. When printing water based paints should be applied waterproof retouching.

Flaking. AZOCOL POLY-PLUS S is easily removed from the grid by product line for the wash emulsion PREGASOL. If the flaking emulsion on the grid remain contamination (paint residues or so-called "double image"), they can be removed with products PREGAN for final processing of the grid. Types of pollution can vary greatly, so it is recommended to carry out their own tests.

COLOR. Before sensitization: purple, after sensitization: Brown

Viscosity. About 6700 mPas

STORAGE. Sensitization before 18 months (20-25 ° C). Once sensitized about 6 weeks (20-25 ° C). Protect from frost!

Grid with pre-applied emulsion layer of about 6 weeks (at 20-25 ° C in complete darkness).

When long storage stencil emulsion layer can absorb moisture from the environment, so it is recommended to re-exposure to drying.
